The Dance Center, provides the highest professional dance training in all genres of dance. Dancers at The Dance Center, achieve a discipline in mind and body, with an emphasis in body strength and control, as well as improvement in memory and thinking skills. We specialize in pre-school classes through professional level classes. Our Young Children's division prides itself on introducing the young dancer to the art of dance and the importance of body placement through creative moment, combination classes of ballet and tap or ballet and acrobatics. Once completing our Young Children's division our students are placed in an appropriate level of dance based on four general criteria, technique, physique, interest and attendance. These students are then taught Classical Ballet, Pointe, Pas de deux, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Acrobatics. Whether the dancer's dreams are to be a professional classical ballet dancer, professional dancer in a Broadway play setting or to simply attaining the highest possible knowledge of the art of dance as enjoyment, The Directors and faculty take great pride in teaching and motivating dancers to accomplish their goals. In addition, The Dance Center also houses Brandon Ballet, a non-profit 501(c)(3) dance company. Brandon Ballet is a performance company that puts on two annual ballets, The Nutcracker and a full-length spring ballet.
